APE series
This is the cheapest way to start your adventure with laser cutting in our offer.
Machine description
The APE is a laser cutting machine for sheet metal with a maximum size of 1500x3000 mm and a thickness of 20 mm. It features small resonators (3000 and 6000 kW) and Series 3 heads.
The machine has two interchangeable tables in the MULTILEVEL version and a fully enclosed work area (without side glazing).
The control system is also limited to the 2000/4000 version.

Automatic autofocus frees the operator from setting the focal length, thus ensuring high repeatability of settings and minimal tolerance.

The focus range is +10 ~ -10 with an accuracy of 0.01mm. - Variable head tip for cutting open profiles type C, H (for APP and APR)
The internal structure of the laser head is completely sealed to avoid dust contamination of the optical part. - Easy replacement of protective, collimating and focusing lenses, lenses are mounted in drawers,
- QBH connector
ACS – The collision protection system consists of several mechanisms thanks to which the machine should avoid contact between the head and the material. The whole system consists of:
- capacitive sensor with high dynamics - the sensor constantly measures the distance between the nozzle and the material and in the event of a deviation of 0.01 mm, it takes action and raises the head up
- software – the FS8000 software predicts places where the height of the cut element may change and places the head at the highest point when passing over the endangered area,
- mechanical protection – if the above two systems fail and the head hits the material; we secure the machine with the lower part of the head resting on screws with a predefined breaking point.
Automatic nozzle replacement
Functionality of heads by AEP:
Protective lens temperature sensor:
Lens protection involves real-time tracking of its temperature. Early detection of contamination disables the laser resonator and alarms the controller.
Gas monitoring sensor:
Sensors track the flow and pressure of the selected gas in real time. The controller ensures proper gas parameters over 100 times per second and contributes to high-quality cutting. Stable gas guidance is the basis for uninterrupted cutting and a clean and smooth edge of the cut material.
Capacitive sensor:
The built-in capacitive sensor equipped with a signal amplifier works during cutting and idle runs. During dynamic movements of the machine, it largely prevents the risk of the head colliding with protruding elements. Stable and accurate guidance of the head over the cut material is a key parameter of quality cutting. The high sensitivity of this element allows you to track the head gap at 0.01 mm.
Head cooling:
The closed head cooling circuit using liquid is equipped with an anti-corrosion coating that prevents contamination during long-term use. Standard cutting heads without this coating produce rust elements that block the cooling channels, which negatively affects the head's cooling efficiency (and therefore causes failures related to overheating).
Closed head system tracking (one loop):
A set of sensors monitors all head parameters in real time. It contributes to quick diagnosis of the problem, intelligent troubleshooting and detection of possible faults at an early stage of the problem. The controller suggests further steps to avoid costly repairs or replacement of the entire head.
"SMART" puncture
An innovative approach to the piercing process itself has been implemented in heads from version 6. The purpose of this system is to speed up the cycle itself and reduce slag at the point of puncture. This allows you to save cutting costs and the time of making the detail, making our head a model of efficiency.
Cutting path tracking:
The head monitors the width of the cutting gap and the remelting temperature itself. This solution allows you to concentrate the focus in the optimal place and prevents the cutting path from breaking. This option is especially important during long-term, non-stop cutting, where consistent cut edge parameters are most desired.
Nozzle quality control:
Real-time control of the nozzle shape and temperature gives the operator an advantage in estimating its service life and allows for conscious production planning. The sensors are part of the one loop function, which means an early stage of detecting a damaged nozzle. Thanks to this, we avoid deterioration of the cutting quality and possible damage to the head due to incorrect reading of cutting parameters.
Automatic return to cutting:
The head monitors continuous cutting and, if it detects a break in the cutting path, forces the machine to return to the place where the beam was broken. The system starts a new pierce and continues cutting automatically.
Beam centering:
The system detects any deviations of the laser beam from the set value in real time and automatically corrects both beam axes. The system operates continuously and has a large impact on quality cutting.
